The timing could not have been better. I found them during an Independence Day sale on Amazon Japan on July 4. And with 2026 marking the 250th anniversary of American independence, the patriotic design immediately caught my attention.
A red, white and blue golf ball on the Fourth of July? I couldn’t resist.

The first thing you notice is the stripe. A thick red, white and blue band wraps around the center of the ball, and it certainly isn’t subtle.
If you’re tired of golf balls that all look the same, this one has personality. The USA colors make it easy to spot, and the design feels especially appropriate for a summer round around the Fourth of July.
The stripe is not there just for looks. TaylorMade calls it 360° ClearPath Alignment. The band wraps around the center of the ball to provide a clear visual reference when lining up putts.
I found the wide stripe particularly easy to see at address. It gives you an obvious line to work with when setting the putter face, and the way the stripe rolls also gives you visual feedback after impact.

To complete the Fourth of July mood, there was a stars-and-stripes cake and iced tea in a Budweiser mug.
Looking at them together with the new golf balls made me think of one thing: I’d love to take these balls to Hawaii someday.
The red, white and blue stripe would look pretty good against a Hawaiian blue sky.
So perhaps that’s the next goal — take a box of Tour Response Stripe USA balls to Hawaii and put them into play.
